while I miss many people in Finland there are some other things, that I wish I could get. I literally dream about shopping in Finland. I would only need few hours at our home shopping center to stock up on these goodies...
Ideapark. I miss being able to jump into our car and be there in three minutes. Anything and everything I needed was there.
Esprit shop. Just one of the many shops that I miss having access to. I'm running out of clothes. I started my closet cleanse a year ago and I basically have a row of party dresses remaining. Not very suitable for stay-at-home mom outfits. I've also been lucky enough to get a bit healthier during the last two years, and dropping over 15 kg (guessing here, don't own a scale here, two months ago it was 15) is not helping in this department.
Fazerin sininen. *Drool...* We get many chocolates here but not this one. I miss it. Dearly.
Ok, so we have Vasa näkkileipä here and something that is kind of like Fazer real, prices are high, and I still don't get my favourite. If someone would want to fly over with a bag full of these, I would not mind. At all.
Based on everyone's posts summer is coming. And my traditional salmon burger with Jaana at Tammelantori is surely missed. They keep raising the price, but I keep going back. At least a few times in the summer.
Of course salmiakkimerkkarit. And hedelmä too.
You should have seen me a month ago at Shopper's Plaza (local supermarket, the one with the best variety). Panda has entered the market. I literally had tears in my eyes. Felt like a jackpot. No this though, and the regular bar costs 1.5 euros each, so for me to get my fix I would have to be willing to drop 15 euros. But I do it sometimes, just because.
I am also missing TV mix, Aakkospussi, Jenkki chewing gum, Texas pete... *Drooling again*
I guess its clear what will be in my bags the next time I fly over.
